I want to take a few moments of your time, if I may, to let you know about our recent experience with one of the realtors at City Real Estate & Mortgage Services.

We have had experiences with several realtors over the last thirty years. Wayne, I have to say that not only have we never met another realtor like Melinda Magee before, it would not be hyperbole for me to say that we have never met anyone in any type of business who has been quite like Melinda Magee, and, yes, that´s a compliment.

Melinda impressed us from the very beginning. She was chosen out of a lineup of about six realtors that my wife interviewed. She immediately impressed us with her unique blend of unpretentious intelligence mixed with a calm, professional poise.

We probably had as complicated, if not the most complicated situation and problematic residential property that any of your realtors has possibly ever encountered.

Melinda is remarkably methodic and extremely thorough in her approach. She notices the smallest things. She notices everything. She thinks of things that most other realtors would not think about, and certainly many things that we would have never considered ourselves. Melinda discovered some obscure problems with our property filings with the two counties that our property straddled. She personally arranged for these filings to be corrected.

The level of engagement and commitment she exhibited was nothing short of remarkable. Melinda had no idea whether we´d even move that white elephant property in one of the worst seller´s market years in Austin´s recent history. Nor did she know whether we´d keep it on the market after her contract expired. In short, she had no assurances whatsoever that her extensive efforts on our behalf would be rewarded in any way. Yet, she worked on it like it was her own property. She took a level of ownership of our issues that frankly caught us off guard.

Melinda is a truly unique human being of the highest caliber in every respect. She is the quintessential example professionalism in your industry. We sold our house for what was essentially a small loss, but we were unquestionably much better off than we would have been without Melinda´s help. Regardless of the money dynamics, in other respects we are undeniably richer for having met Melinda Magee. Going forward, there is no other realtor within a 100 mile radius of Austin as far as we are concerned.
